*Spoiler Warning: I Will be talking about spoilers in this description about the video so, you have been warned*. So, after being betrayed by Bartrand and then slaying that makes rock-creature, we then find out that there is quite a bit of gold just laying around there that the demon doesn’t want us to take. There were a few reasons as to why I killed that Demon; 1) If he ever tried to come up from the deep roads and try to cause problems, I would get blamed in an instant and I didn’t want that to happen and 2) After getting betrayed by Bartrand, this expedition was completely useless unless we killed the Demon to steal his money. After that though, I get screwed over for my mistakes because I had no idea this was going to Happen (as you can tell by my reaction in the video). After doing a bit of researching during the video and after it, it turns out that something happens to your sibling (whether that is Carver or Bethany) at this particular junction in time. If you take them on your journey into the deep roads, they will die by the plague, just like Bethany did here. However, if you take Anders with you, he can perform the rite of initiation and make them into a Gray Warden (Which stings to most to find that out since I joked about taking two mages). If you were to leave them at home though, some particular faction tries to take them (Bethany gets kidnapped and forced into the Circle while Carver joins the Templars). No matter what, something will happen to them and I had no idea anything that bad was going to go down; as I put it in the video, I zevraned the entire situation. Two games in a row and I have murder one of my own companions once again (I know for a fact that I haven’t murder one of my own in the third game so I can’t wait to see who dies in that one *NotLikeThis* *FailFish*). I was rather salty about this whole situation to say the least because there wasn’t really much to ward you (expect for the mother telling her not to go).
