The task is to control your character and reach the finish line safely. Dash through the ramps and jump over benches, cans, and pipes. Be sure to land safely on the ground or else you will get a bad crash and fail the level. Grab the coins scattered on the area so you can earn some cash. Performing back flips and front flips will also give you extra cash and buy new skateboards in the shop.

Overview:
A lot of people like to go on skateboards performing all those weird and cool tricks. It is pretty dangerous as well as pretty scary of course but when you play Crazy Skater, there’s no need to worry about getting injured or dying. You don’t die in the game so to speak. When you fall flat on your face on your back you just get back up and move on back from the start that is. Crazy Skater lets you do all those things without the fear and the pressure of actual skateboarding.
Aesthetics:
Crazy Skater uses hand drawn art as well as for the animation. While the overall visuals are plain and simple, they do the job well. The game looks bright and vibrant as well as being very colorful. While your skater doesn’t have the properties to change his appearance, he still looks really rad. The terrain and background designs are really good and they change from time to time which doesn’t make the game look boring. The music also fits into the game although it does tend to repeat from start to finish as well as the different levels. There are also music tracks for some areas but the one used for the levels really fits in. It has a nice synthetic rock which gives you that skater’s adrenaline rush. The overall aesthetics are simple but are suited for the game.
Gameplay:
Crazy Skater’s gameplay is really simple. You just control your skater from the starting point of each level until the end of it. Once you do finish, you get to the next level until you complete all 15 levels. Controlling your skater can be done with either the arrow keys or the WASD buttons. This format suits for all players be it that they are left or right handed. The space button can be pressed to allow the player’s skater to jump the obstacles. While the skater is in the air, the players can do some tricks like flipping their board with the use of the space button or doing back and front flips. Just remember to land on your feet otherwise the level will end on a failure which makes you start over the level again. If you also fall into the ground where you can’t get elevation like a wall is blocking you then the level is a failure as well. You won’t have lives so feel free to experiment doing tricks all the time. The levels have different designs and each of them have several obstacles that can help you perform more tricks which can be really fun. You will also earn money during each level which you can use to unlock boards. The skateboards come in different designs so that is always good for you to invest on. The game is overall simple with not a lot going on. The tricks and skateboards are still enough to keep you coming back for more if you feel like it that is.
