Create DARK SOULS in Unity ► EP. 117 POLISH (PT. 1)
In this episode we give our enemy A.I the ability to stop when coming too close to their target. This will prevent the A.I from constantly running into you.
We also create functionality for stationary archers. This will make archers hold their position, so you can set them up on ledges and such, and not have to worry about them leaving their post in pursuit of their target.
Lastly we adjust our arrow's logic, creating a better penetration system, along with a nice approach to arrow dip/drop over time.
This will be the start of the "Polish" videos in the series. A "polish" video will be a video consisting of small updates across multiple areas. Since I touched upon arrows and A.I, and not just one or the other, I felt like this was a good name for this video and future videos of a similar nature.
We still have plenty of core content as well however, so we will be returning to that next time.
