Creating a Hide & Seek Minigame in Unreal Engine 5
In this new mini-series, I’m building a hide and seek minigame using Unreal Engine 5’s EQS system so NPCs can dynamically pick hiding spots. In this first part, I set up the EQS queries and a simple state tree so the NPC runs off and hides when it sees the player. Perfect if you want smarter AI that can adapt and use the environment.
I’ll go deeper into gameplay expansions and variations in the next videos, so stay tuned.
