41Hello and welcome to the forth of episode of “Counter Strike – In Depth”. Today we are looking at a plastic rifle for the good guys. A lightweight, battle tested rifle that can adapt to any terrorist threat. Its not big, its not cheap, but its pretty and easy to use. This is the M4A4.
The M4 is a carbine variation of the M16 assault rifle which was created in the United states of America, by legendary weapons designer Eugene Stoner.
It entered service in 1969 in the Vietnam conflict to mixed reviews from soldiers. However after decades of service, a smaller and just as accurate variation of the M16 Rifle was created and designated the M4A1.It fires the Standard Nato 5.56mm Round, which is also known as the 223 round which has great accuracy and great range. The M4 platform is highly customisable is the Standard issue weapon for a vast number of armed forces including the united states and has seen combat in almost every major war since its creation.
In counter strike global offensive, The M4A4 is a Counter terrorist weapon only, and can be purchase in the rifle section for $3100, and grants a $300 reward per kill. The magazine contains 30 rounds with an extra 90 rounds on tap and can be reloaded in 3.15 seconds It fires at at 667 rounds per minuet and is in the middle ground of recoil for the assault rifles.
The M4A4 can be tap fired very effectively at medium range with tight three round bursts and can also be sprayed very well in closequarters. The first shot of the M4A4 is extremely accurate, however can take up to 2 head shots if your opponent is armoured, so don't be afraid to fire tight volleys of high automatic fire at medium ranges, single shots at long range and go for a full spray In close quarters.
The Counter terrorists rifles are more expensive and do less damage then the terrorist rifles, however they make up for this with less recoil and more versatility on the battlefield. So if you need an average rifle to match all skill sets, this may be the rifle for you.
The M4A4 is a weapon for the average soldier and has a skill set as long as its service record. It is simple, fast and is accurate across the map. So no matter where the terrorists are, if they are in your sights, give em a tight burst of freedom.
