An orange map... yep, not much too say... Actually quite uncommon for L4d2, but still good for a orange map all the same...

(Bet you didn't see this one coming... :3)

Pros
+Surreal
+Fair and balanced gameplay and supplies
+Fairly non-linear
+Good design
+God-like loading and few slow downs

Cons
-Very few details and textures other than dev textures...
-Finally can be difficult
-Lackluster escape

Final Verdict
80/100

It feels weird to play a orange... it feels even weirder to through enjoy or more than half of the map that I do play...

There is a rule to mapping that I follow... a rule I don't believe many people think about...
"If your map sucks in dev textures, then it is not going to change with a fresh coat of paint and scented candles everywhere. It will only create sticky shit that reeks of cheap candles"
A rule I thoroughly believe to be true... it the core map and design is awful, then making it look good is not going to stop the fact that it sucks... and this is why I love this map...

With no detailing, all effort was put into the design... and while it may not be perfect... it is still a farcry better than some of the shit I see that is absolutely glorified for it's looks despite playing about as good as a flea infested, rotting squirrel choking on someone's shit.

So... let us get back on track... lack of detailing means more effort into other aspects... and it is apparent... the surreal design (especially the first chapter) enhances the gameplay and give it is own visual style that I was sad to see mostly gone in the other chapters... the lack also makes loading times ridiculously fast and the whole campaign run very smoothly... never once did I feel I was in dire need of supplies, nor did I feel like I was going to drown in them... the navigation was sound from what I saw...

The finale was unusually difficult, and the actually escape lackluster... but it could have been worse...

Overall... it was great, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would... for a orange map, may be a first and last, but I do recommend at least a try...
