Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon Soulsilver brings it all back together for the classic Cyndaquil line. I restarted the games all the time but oddly found something very gentle and cute in Cyndaquil, and while I didn't take to it immediately, I really like the little guy. What I wish I had gotten the chance to experience though was Thunderpunch Typhlosion in Gen 2. I've only heard legends from those days as a young player, but being able to compare the two now it really does feel significantly different. It's pretty cool how the little details can create big feelings. Cool than Mudkip! This one's for all the Pidgey, Bronzong, and Poliwag fans out there.
