D-16 was always Selfish in Transformers One. Before seeing this movie, we already knew the paths these characters were going to be taking. Especially the character of D-16. We knew that he would become the evil Decepticon leader, Megatron. A character who’s known to be very selfish. But something I noticed is that D-16 was kinda already a selfish character. For example, he was initially against Orion Pax putting them in the race. It was only until Sentinel Prime came to congratulate them that he felt like it was a great idea. Then when they were thrown into sub level 50 D-16 adamant about staying put in hopes that Sentinel would find them. But it was after Orion hinted at a possible reward from Sentinel did D agree to the plan. What’s ironic is that after he discovers the big lie about Sentinel he blames Orion for the whole ordeal as if he never agreed to leave the mines. To make a long story short. D-16 was always selfish and only agreed to something if it benefited him. Its only when it went wrong that he was spazz out and blamed his friend Orion Pax.
