They Swapped Out TF2 Optimus with Galvatron in Transformers 4. During Transformers Age of Extinction, it was revealed that the Kinetic Solutions Incorporated or KSI. A drone that was reverse engineered from Megatron and physically patterned after Optimus Prime. But his look was altered due to Megatron’s still functioning mind. It looks awfully familiar to a scene from another Transformers film. If you go back and look at Transformers 2, you’ll notice that this scene was basically copied and altered. Where instead of having a dead Optimus be unloaded from a plane. We got an inactive Galvatron. The original footage was also heavily cropped down for Revenge of the Fallen and features a yellowing filter.
