Some arcade ports to console get the short end of the stick and this is one of them. What worked decently as an arcade game doesn't come across very well here. The game is okay to look at, the soundtrack isn't terrible and there is some mild strategy with the different upgrades you can make. The problem is the game handles so poorly and the computer is cheap (like many arcade games are) that it sucks a lot of the air out of the room. Could be worse, perhaps, but it could have been a lot better. The arcade version was by no means a classic, but it was longer and had better value for your time. This one is over before you know it and there's no real reason to go for a second lap unless you want to see how long it takes before the computer cheats beyond belief.
