Dark Envoy by Event Horizon, like its predecessor Tower of Time, blends elements from the ARPG, CRPG and JRPG sub-genres. It features its own RTWP combat system and it is amazing. However, it's coming up against some very stiff competition for this last quarter of the year... RPGs in 2023 are no joke. You have Colony Ship, Moonring, Baldur's Gate 3, War Tales, Darkest Dungeon 2 (although those are all Turn based) and plenty of others.
