The nasty quality is due to me fiddling with settings due to resource hogging. In the future I'll try to tweak them better. I need to upgrade my toaster. ;_;

I have a tumblr entry about this here: http://adrastiana.tumblr.com/post/125344787543/i-ran-into-some-trouble-with-playing-a-mounted-bin

I was initially playing on a NA disc image on SSF version 12 beta R4. Changing to PAL didn't help as you will see in the video. I did not try using another version of SSF. I feel like my save is screwed beyond repair and it may not help. I might try at some point though. But I'm thinking I really need to just start over regardless. I have no idea if this issue is the result of the emulator, a bad disc dump or just a very unfortunate glitch that I somehow managed to trigger.

I had previously acquired Morgan. Before entering the ruins I used the liquid nitrogen on Lance, thus my "party" ended up being Morgan and the Warden. I'm not sure if this factored in at all. Due to the fact that I only had one savestate and one SRAM file I ended up not having a backup. I saved at Kaiser in the ruins. After opening the first mural door Kaiser is unusable. He cannot be talked to.

When I opened up the first mural with the key the text that came up was fine for the first sentence. The rest of the text was garbled and unreadable. At this point the glitch was active. Using the second mural key results in the camera panning upward. The text box may try to appear but nothing happens and the game freezes. Initiating any sort of text, whether by asking Jack for a heal, reading something or dying and having Jack revive you will all result in the the "*: T" glitch. You can scroll the text. But it seems to be endless and you can't escape the text box. If you die that text may not even come up. Most of the time the game will just freeze when you respawn.

The PAL version's error is a bit different. You will get "*: me" instead. i had a thought that *: T was some snippet of code regarding text and *: me was "message error". But I have no idea really.
