I entered glitch town from Saria. But it should work from other towns as well. There are a few variations. Sometimes enemies never appear in battles and sometimes there's zero collision and you always fall through the floors. Unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce the flying enemy glitch in Parapa Palace. I gave up after countless tries. Here I got lucky and didn't have to reset. Although I intentionally avoided additional palaces, all caves and most towns just to be on the safe side. Once you get stuck on a zero collision map there's a good chance that you will not be able to get out and will fall forever if not in fairy form.

Jump cuts were added to nix unnecessary walking around on the map. I wandered a bit. So I ended up killing about a full minute from this video.

Go through the open door in glitch town ten times. The door is actually still there after three times even though you can't see it. It's the window to the right of the door. I went through an additional time after getting scroll locked. It may have had some effect. But I'm not sure.

After that the game is completely broken everywhere but the world map itself. Palaces have no collision and the maps are messed up to the point where they just scroll repeatedly through the same map. It just wraps around. It is possible to escape near the actual entrance. Sometimes. No enemies appear usually.

Towns are either scroll locked with glitched scenery or they will wrap around endlessly with zero collision. Sometimes there are NPCs. Sometimes towns have a strip of floor collision. This could be factor in to when NPCs can appear. I didn't test it.

Caves are totally borked. I could never get out of one once I got in. So I didn't even attempt it here.

The last area I went to the the FDS King's Tomb. A leftover that can be seen with the map code by getting into a battle while standing on the River Devil. Unlike the unused cemetery area, this one is completely broken with no collision. Once you are in during this glitch you ain't getting out.

If you do this glitch I strongly advise you not to save to SRAM, especially on a real cart. There's no way to undo any of the effects as far as I can tell. If you make a savestate with the glitch active make sure that you have a backup sans glitch.
