Dave The Diver - How to find, and capture, the Ice Stingray Fishmon!
The Ice Stingray Fishmon is the 8th, and second to last, Fishmon that Udo asks you to catch. He lets you know that it can be caught in the Glacial Area in a cave of ice. What Udo DOESN'T tell you is that it's body parts can be weakened by heat. You can see this info if you go to the Fishmon option in your phone and highlight the Ice Stingray after getting the quest.

To prepare for this Fishmon, make sure to bring fire weapons! I got super lucky and got a Flame Harpoon Tip level 3 right before the cave. I would HIGHLY suggest bringing this with you. Try to swim around and find one before heading into the cave. Relying on a firearm may kill the Ice Stingray, whereas the Harpoon will only stun it once it runs out of health.
To find the Ice Stingray, use the mirror on the boat and warp to the Glacial Area. You want to go down to 540m, and look for the cave entrance on the right side of the area. This is right around where the scenery changes from mostly ice, to rock.
After heading into the cave, just keep heading right all the way until you see some gears. Instead of swimming up, swim right past them, and you will come to a big, open area. I suggest taking care of all aggressive fish in the area before fighting the Ice Stingray.
Once ready, swim up, and the Ice Stingray will be seen on the icy ceiling. I saw two different attacks during the fight. For one of the attacks, the Ice Stingray will shoot 3 icicle projectiles at Dave. I was able to avoid these, but I am guessing these can freeze you. The other attack I saw was the Ice Stingray will charge Dave, and then do a quick "uppercut" with it's tail when it gets close. Just keep dashing to stay away from it, and it should miss. As always, the Dolphin Necklace will help evade attacks, and I always recommend keeping this equipped at all times.
Keep hitting the Ice Stingray with your fire weapon (hopefully the Harpoon Gun, to risk it not being killed), and eventually it will become stunned! Once stunned, just swim up to it and interact with it to complete the Fishmon quest!
