The Explosive Vampire Squid is the 7th Fishmon Udo will ask you to find. He tells you that it is an ACTUAL vampire, and can suck victim's blood to regain health. He also says that it can cause explosions. It can be found in the Glacial Passage, which is accessed in the Sea People Village. To be honest, I think this was the easiest Fishmon to capture.

To prepare, I would honestly just suggest using the maxed out Harpoon Gun (Superalloy Harpoon Gun). It only took me 6 shots to stun and capture it. Once ready, head to the Sea People Village via the mirror on your boat. From there, take the portal to the right of the mirror, and then go right some more to find the entrance to the Glacial Passage. Once inside, just head straight down to the bottom, where the Explosive Vampire Squid is waiting.

I have no idea what kind of attacks the Explosive Vampire Squid uses, since for me (maybe I got lucky?), it didn't do anything besides swim towards me. Just keep your distance and keep shooting it with the Harpoon Gun when you have enough space to fire it without getting hit. Also, watch out for the other squid in the area, as their AOE attack will confuse you, switching up your controls. Once the Explosive Vampire Squid has taken enough damage, it will become stunned, allowing you to catch it!
