DC Direct - Deathstroke - Action Figure Review
Picked up a DC Direct figure this time around, the assassin Deathstroke!
Based on the Batman: The Adventures Continue comic series, this toy line takes its inspiration from the Batman Animated series designs by Bruce Timm.
The proportions on these figures are insane! Big cartoony chests, really capture the 90's style of superheroes, and this version is no expectation. With a ton of accessories, and an alternate head the value in this figure is definitely here, but due to the crazy body proportions, its extremely hard to articulate the figure.
The weapons and hands are extremely small, so care is needed, as they are delicate.
with three extra pair of hands, we have 4 pairs to play with, making the most out of the accessories for poses.
I've been used to collector friendly packaging, that having to cut open a figure like this was a surprise to me. It definitely gives the feeling of wanting to leave the figure in the package.
Overall its a good figure, has a few articulation issues, but has enough accessories, and the most important part, the likeness to the animated series.
Its spot on with the classic art style, so if your looking for a Deathstroke in that classic 90's look, this figure is the one for you!
