DC Multiverse - King Shazam! - McFarlane Toys Action Figure Review
15Today up for review is King Shazam! from McFarlane toys!
From the one-shot comic "The Infected" we get the corrupted version of Shazam! Corrupted by the Bat Who Laughs, the Joker Venom infected Shazam and turned him to the side of evil.
As a character who only appears in a few comics, and only has one dedicated to him, I'm surprised we even got a action figure of a character like this. But McFarlane loves to reach far and wide and bring us characters that we haven't seen before.
As with all other McFarlane figures, we can come to expect the excellent sculpt, with small details all over the figure.
Accessory wise, we get a pair of closed fist to change out the hands, while this gives us a bit more value in posing, some sort of lighting effect would have been nice to have, as King Shazam is crackling with electric power in the comic.
Overall its a great figure, even if your not into superheroes, King Shazam makes a great evil wizard for those fantasy collections, or if your into the Heavy Metal series of comics, or The Bat Who Laughs, King Shazam is a great pickup, he's a bit lacking in accessories, but that seems to be a trend these days for figures at this price point.
Definitely check him out, as far as i can tell, this is the ONLY figure of King Shazam released so far, so if you think about adding him to your collection, make sure its not too late!
