The upgrades that the A-10C has over the A model allow easy acquisition, marking, and engagement of many targets in a single pass. In fact, with practice, you can engage as many targets in one pass as weapons you're carrying. The key to this is creating good markpoints using your sensors.
Here's my guide to spamming Mavericks and hitting 6 to 10 or more vehicles in one attack run. I hope it's useful!
