If you've ever wondered what the hell JTAC was talking about or been confused by the coordinate system the A-10C's CDU uses, this video is for you.

I'm using a handy MGRS Google Maps overlay, available here: https://mappingsupport.com/p/coordinates-mgrs-google-maps.html

This is a simple example of how to use MGRS, the Military Grid Reference System, to find a specific point within a map, starting at 100km precision all the way down to 10m precision by adding more digits to the coordinates.
