DEBUG MODE & LEVEL SKIP Codes: Sonic Spinball (SEGA Game Gear) ✔
A quick tutorial on how to access Debug Mode and the Level Skip codes for Sonic Spinball, on the SEGA Game Gear. These codes also work on the Master System version, which is essentially the same game. Normally, these codes can be found by finding special monitors hidden in each stage. However, it is possible to just enter the code if you already know it. Which defeats the point really.

All codes for Sonic Spinball have to be entered via the 'Sound FX' in the options screen. For Debug Mode, enter: 0, 9, 0, 1, 6 & 8. The screen will rumble every time a correct code has been entered. You can enter as many codes as you like in one go, so for the Level Skip, enter: 0, 2, 1, 5, 6 & 6. Again, the screen will rumble when entered correctly. When finished entering the codes, simply exit the Options screen, and start the game as normal.
To use Debug Mode, simply pause the game and press the '2' button to move Sonic around anywhere the map. Simply un-pause the game deactivate it.This can be used to easily locate and obtain the Chaos Emeralds for each stage. Even the secret areas with the hidden code monitors can be found, if you couldn't already find them. They are always hidden to the left somewhere anyway. Debug Mode also extends to the boss battles and special stages, making them an absolute joke. If that is too much effort for you, there is an even cheaper way to cheese the game...
To use the Level Skip, again pause the game and simply press down to finish the area. The boss battles are loaded in as separate areas, so simply repeating the action will also skip the boss and complete the level. The same can be done for the special stages, but will not allow you to get any bonus points. You can still collect points for collecting rings and breaking statues before skipping. Simply rinse and repeat to clear the entire game in minutes. Cue that somewhat questionable cutscene at the end...
