This game has a number of codes...I say this because GameFAQs has no codes listed. Normally, I wouldn't make a video telling you or showing you how to do codes, but a couple of codes require you to name your character in KANJI, something that a lot of people (including myself) aren't really knowledgeable in. You also can't easily explain the codes either, but you can show how they are done. I think this video is important, especially if you are curious why the intro shows six girls, yet you can only choose five...the last girl in the intro, Maria, can only be selected if you enter a particular code and she has her own music and endings.

Before I say the codes in order of appearance, I will tell you a code that I didn't do in this video...because it can be explained (more or less) without showing it; you can erase your game saves with this code:

1) During demo sequences (not the opening intro, but the demos when you wait), you must hold right and press and hold X and hold down the Start and Select, you can erase all saved data. In other words, press and hold ALL of the following: RIGHT + X + START + SELECT. If done correctly, you won't hear a chime or anything, but when you check your data, it should be gone. Now, the codes shown in the video in order of appearance:

2) Getting 990,000 funds: From the beggining up until 3:35, I show you that you can start with 990,000 funds. You must name yourself "99億の男!". If you can't read Kanji like me (I only have a few committed to memory), just follow the video to know how to name yourself such. For the curious, the name roughly equates to "99 Million Man". You can use these wicked funds in conjunction with the code below:

3) Building many special building units: Ordinarily, you can only build up to 2 special units at a time and you must wait several days before you can build more. However, as you can see, I build a whole slew of level 1 buildings. From 3:40 up till 5:30, I demonstrate this...so how do you do it? When you get to the unit placement screen, you must press Y in each of the four corners of the map screen. If you do so correctly, you WILL hear a chime (I let you hear the chime several times). Now, you can place as many of the chosen building as you want, not just one or two...so long as you have the funds.

4) Selecting Maria: This is the most important code. That sixth girl in the intro is actually a hidden character that you can select with the other girls...but it requires you to name your character "高飛車大好き". If you watch from about 5:40 till the end, you will see how this is done and notice that Maria is with the other five girls on the girl selection screen.
