Welcome back to Delta Force: Task Force Dagger, a military simulation, tactical shooter created by Novalogic in 2002. The game was originally meant to serve as a Standalone expansion to its predecessor, Delta Force: Land Warrior. It boasts a wide variety of weaponry and selection of character classes from various specialised military forces from around the world, all with their own unique traits and abilities. The game follows the team in question, a joint task force called Viper 33, that works to disassemble terrorist and extremist militia units across various parts of the world. The game, in contrast to older titles such as the original Delta Force, is more action-oriented and accessible, being made on the same engine as Land Warrior, even though it boasts greater design and rendering technology at the cost of simplified gameplay.
Dagger has deemed Darwanta Power Station to be a liability as it supplies power to three enemy encampments along the Zhavar river, most notably the Salman Farsi Camp.
Viper 33 has been tasked with infiltrating the compound of the power station located near the Darunta Dam in the back of the truck and then proceeding to the power station proper on foot. From there, his task is to place beacons on the three power transformers within the plant to mark them for cruise missile strikes and get out before the missiles hit.
Eliminating enemy resistance is not a priority but left at Viper 33's discretion.
