Welcome back to Delta Force: Task Force Dagger, a military simulation, tactical shooter created by Novalogic in 2002. The game was originally meant to serve as a Standalone expansion to its predecessor, Delta Force: Land Warrior. It boasts a wide variety of weaponry and selection of character classes from various specialised military forces from around the world, all with their own unique traits and abilities. The game follows the team in question, a joint task force called Viper 33, that works to disassemble terrorist and extremist militia units across various parts of the world. The game, in contrast to older titles such as the original Delta Force, is more action-oriented and accessible, being made on the same engine as Land Warrior, even though it boasts greater design and rendering technology at the cost of simplified gameplay.
Dagger has recently acquired intelligence about the presence of a mercenary training facility located in Khanabad. Viper 33 is being sent to the training camp with two clear objectives in mind: the first being the neutralisation of all targets within the training facility.
The second objective is the capture and destruction of the HQ building. There is also a third minor objective of eliminating enemy armour, preferably before they're being operated by the enemy. Following all this, Viper 33 is to extract via Helo.
The place has a lot of manpower protecting it as well as numerous Machine Gunner Nests. Stealth is the recommended approach, and Viper 33 has been authorised CAS support as deemed appropriate.
