Name of Mission: Death Star

What have the 'bots been doing with all
the metal from our mines?

Description: After you cleaned out all the mines,
Material Defender, the corporation sent out
construction crews to rebuild them and resume
mining operations. But all the minerals are
gone! There's nothing left to mine! We followed
a few stragglers out into deep space and found a
large object. We believe the last of the 'bots
(and our material resources) are there.

Your mission: Wipe out the last of the 'bots
and find out what they've been doing with the
metals they took from our mines.

My opinion:

This level isn't too hard, because shields are abundant.

This level is a milestone in my Descent playthroughs. From this level I won't neglect the fusion cannon. You don't need to charge it at all to fire projectiles that are strong enough to kill weaker mechs in a single hit. Eg. spiders and clusters of spiderlings, rocket mechs at (7:20),
3 screechers at (9:00). C2 drones at (16:10), etc.

The hive at (19:20) is the biggest badass trap I ever encountered in Descent so far. It's quite rewarding to clean it up.
