► Soo Neo, what happens today ? Well I'm glad You ask!! ツ
Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Homeworld Deserts of Kharak! Part 5, from the destroyed Carrier of the coalition I have acquired a coordinates of a excavation site. We are changing our course and will attempt to secure this site, after our position will be secured I will gather all the needed resources and form a fleet strong enough to stand against the Gaalsien. Apparently the site is nothing else as a destroyed space ship of unknown origin! Kalash site is a nice map. It forces You to use more the units then the carrier which in Play Homeworld Deserts of Kharak is one hell of a beast to deal with! I mean, this monster of a unit can stand almost against everything, my only problem are the railguns as they out range me. Now I don’t know about normal difficulty level but on Classic Kalash site have something I dislike in video games, constant respawn of enemy. I mean in this mission they swarm you! However Kalash site is a very well secured position. I don’t know how rest of the missions in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak look like, but this one is easy to defend. 2 ramps which the enemy units will use to gain access to the Site. But wait there is more! You re-member in good old Homeworld dog fights of fighters in space ? Well buckle your seatbelts! In Kalash site we gain access to the first air unit of Homeworld Deserts of Kharak! Yes! We are commanding a carrier after all right ? ツ Well maybe those aren’t exactly dog fights like in Homeworld, but seeing a squad of fighters going over the cliffs in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak is some majestic view! Another new thing in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak is a drone recon unit, it cost around 50 resources to make, but it allows me to scout Kalash site with minimum casualties. I think Homeworld Deserts of Kharak is a medium size map. I think I haven’t seen yet a bit map in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak. What else is different from old Homeworld and Deserts of Kharak ? In Homeworld Deserts of Kharak some resources are shown some are hidden I learn that those are hidden in the wreck of spaceships but still I think this is a nice touch. But anyway back to the mission 4 as I im going off a bit. Now In mission 4, Kalash site we have time to work around, plan our army out what reasearch we should focus on and as said before I plan to collect as much resources as that is possible and Kalash site is full of jucie resources! By the way did anyone else notice that the Gaalsien are using hover crafts ? Why did I notice that at mission 4 ? That’s why too late…

Back in the destroyed carrier over the Cape Wrath we discovered cordinates of a site, Jacob in his report said it’s one of those sites the Gaalsien kept guard for a long time in search for resources. What can be so special in the middle of the desert ? High command whats us to investigate this site and if the rumors are true the Kalash site have any useful resource is to acquire as much as we can to build and improve our own fleet. Rachel is full of hope she thinks as Jacob was sure the Gaalsien didn’t took all the artefacts from Kalash. We should soon arrive at the site.
