Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Homeworld Deserts of Kharak! Part 7 Mission 5
Gaalsien Carrier is here!! ZOMG! I’m gona add another wreck to Kalash Wreck map! I didn’t expect it to show up this early in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak but it its fine with me! The Gaalsien Carrier appeared in the north part of Kalash Wreck, Its supported by 2 Siege Crusers but there is more! Kalash Wreck is the first mission where we get a active ally! The Siidim did one hell of a entrance! So far the best entrance in to a battlefield in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak! How on Classic difficult level Kalash Wreck I had to clear the crash sites around the plateau. Starting from the east side of Kalash Wreck, then going west and then to the middle. Sakala will appear near the middle wreck I don’t know does this work the same on other difficulty levels then Classic. technically You can spend many hours on Kalash wreck as I don’t see the possibility that the Saakala will destroy the Gaalsien or otherwise, I mean The Siege Crusers have some firepower but they won’t destroy a carrier with just LAU. A unit that I love to play with in Kalash Wreck, Fighters are not advice to use against the siege Crusers as they have AA support and I think this is the point in the game where I have to lookout for more of those. Unless someone wants to spam and loose units over and over. That’s not fun and I like to take all my fleet from mission to mission in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak. If You did followed my walkthrough so far You should know to use the armored units vs the LAU and Railguns vs the Armored units just keep doing this and You should be ok. Same as in almost every Homeworld game, Homeworld Deserts of Kharak goes by the same patterns paper, scissors, rock. Remember when You finish Kalash Wreck to take with You all the resources there are as You will need them and those transfer with You same as fleet.

Show time, Gaalsien carrier have arrive in Kalash Wreck, hovercraft carrier slips over the sand like no other units, Gaalsien if they are few they are a dangerous adversary. Saakala have also arrive on the battlefield. Carrier of the Siidim, together we should be able to push enemy carrier from the Kalash wreck. High command wants more information about new Gaalsien unit, Siege Cruser this long range unit can easily destroy large targets like a carrier staying safe withing cover of its own units.
