Subnautica | Building first base, Radiation Zone ? | part 3 | Let's Play - Walkthrough
5I found the vine / kelp forest to be a nice place to make a base. So time to think out of some layout for it while also trying to scout further to the deeps -
Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Subnautica! Part 3, I have found a good place for a base. Its between 2 kelp forests. Keep in mind making Your first base Your primary one is, in my opinion a bad idea. Becouse if later You acquire better equipment for Your base then it will take a lot of rebuilding. Well some ppl like to rebuild stuff over and over. But I prefer rather to have more than 1 base anyway so. Base nr One, foundation have been set. Time to gather more resources to build it. You need titanium a lot of it so when you are looking for a good place for a base gather it. Same goes for quartz, this game eats quartz all the time! Soo col-lect that aswell. If You are missing or looking a “know how” to get a basic equipment then check episode 1 of this series! In the next episode I’ll make some vehicules! I have scouted the perimeter and found a suitable site for a base. Hidden in the kelp forest of this planet. I should be able to hide it from hunters and have good supply of basic resources for future expansion. Area around Aurora is heavy radioactive, Looks like the dark matter generator is causing this. I should think out a way of clearing the area. But for now I need to think of a steady supply of food water and building resources. I don’t know how long I’ll have to stay here before a rescue team comes and even if they come I have to be sure to warn them from the same danger that took down Aurora. Frankly eating the fish instead of sterile food isisn’t soo bad after all.
