So with Destiny 2‘s Crucible mode for competitive players there wasnt much said other than it now only having 4v4 match-ups, as of right now we can only guess what will happen to game types like Skirmish, Elimination, and weather they will be removed and named something else or if they will just be revamped to fit the new player count. When it comes to the free-for-all mode such as Rumble, it’s quite possible it will still exist in its traditional form, either that or will return with a reduced amount of Guardians in matches. So the thing they they stated about the "COMPETITIVE" crucible modes, they were pretty consistant at repeating that, so that may mean the possibility of having a ranked playlist. this isnt confirmed or anything but like i said they were pretty frequent with saying the competitive crucible rather than just stating pvp, crucible, or multiplayer.
the new crucible mode will be named countdown which will be the first attack defend mode in Destiny.
It was made pretty apparent that there is going to be new weapons in the game, but one thing a lot of people may have over looked was a quick glimpse when Roland went into his inventory, weapon mods are confirmed for destiny 2 as you can see at the bottom of the weapon that he has selected it says no weapon mods applied, it also looks as though we will have 2 primary weapons and then the heavy slot that we currently have in destiny 1 will work different in destiny 2. if you look at the weapons in his inventory there are both heavy and special weapons in that slot, something that is now being called POWER WEAPONS, so the ammo and weapon economy is being changed.
Something else incredible that will be happening with Destiny 2 is a new feature bungie is calling guided games, which is basically the ability for you to find teams, send friend requests, and that sort of stuff to find new people to play with, new teams to go into raids, trials, pvp, etc. basically to me it looks like somewhat of an ingame LFG.
we will also no longer need to go to orbit in order to go where we want. and the video i made about the map easter egg for the gameplay reveal image bungie posted, i was correct about, there will now be a map for each planet that you go to and you will have the ability to select the area you want to go to, which leads into the next thing,

the new planets and there names, the 4 planets that were shown in the stream were nesses, earth, titan and io, there does look to be a moon above earth but that also may be the traveler just due to its size. nothing was shown about the moon so that may not be available in destiny 2, either that or it will be available later on in its life cycle with a dlc, something similar to the dreadnaught and the plaguelands.
Bungie revealed some new Super Abilities, including a sword-based move--called the Dawnblade--for the Warlock character class. The attack allows the player character to leap into the air and pull out a sword that could slam into enemies below, as well as launch projectiles at foes further afield. Another Super, called Sentinel, showed a Titan summoning a Shield that can be used to hit enemies at close range or thrown at a group of far-away enemies to bounce between them. Lastly, the Arcstrider Super allows you to summon a swingable staff that can also be slammed down onto enemies' heads.
As far as we can tell from the stream today, it looks as though destiny 2 for console will end up being 30fps, the pc version will be exclusive to Battlenet, you will not be able to purchase it on steam from what we have been made aware of.
We all knew this would probably be happening and it looks like once playstation users are going to have exclusive content for a limited time, weather it is done the same way as destiny and having it be exclusive for as long as it has been wasnt announced, but we are getting playstation exclusives it just a matter of how long.
