DESTINY 2: Why Quickplay & Competitive Are A Great Thing For Destiny PvP
Today we'll dive into why Quickplay & Competitive are a great thing for Destiny moving forward into Destiny 2. The distinction between the two offer Quickplay a looser set of Connection Based Matchmaking parameters while offering the potential for new fun and casual game modes similar to Halo's Action Sack playlist. The Competitive side of the coin gives Bungie the chance to limit the sandbox, have a stricter enforcement on Skill Based Matchmaking games, & extend into broadcast by utilizing the recently acquired MLG. Activision/Blizzard now owning MLG offers a lot of potential for their lineup of titles to have top notch broadcast and tournament opportunities. How all this gets taken advantage of is up to Bungie. What do you think about the Quickplay VS Competitive distinction coming in Destiny 2, do you think it will succeed? Thanks for watching!
