Hey everyone, bryan from raid leader tv and together with DestinyLFG.com
we're gonna be bringing you the complete Crota's End raid guide, constantly
updated with the current best strategies for defeating each encounter
in the raid.

When you first begin the mission your fireteam will spawn on the moon's surface
in front of a large abyss. Simply stand on the circular sync plate in
front of you in order to begin forming the bridge, similar to forming
the spire at the beginning of the Vault of Glass raid.

When you are notified of a new mission, you'll know the bridge is complete,
simply move toward the floating platform and fall through the hole in it's
center. Double jumping or otherwise breaking the fall is not necessary,
though landing on the head of one of your teammates may kill them.

Now that your fireteam is together in the darkness you may begin
the first challenge of the raid, however it would be wise to first
pick up the loot chest that spawns in the room next to you before proceeding

the appropriate link.

After looting the chest you are now tasked with navigating a large dark
maze in order to reach the end of the challenge, similar to the Gorgon's
Labyrinth in the Vault of Glass, however this time things are a bit different.

The challenge can be broken down into 3 main mechanics:

- Over time you will accumulate debuff named the Weight of Darkness which
lowers your movement speed and maneuverability, stacking up to 10 times.

- The only way to remove the compounded darkness debuff is to stand
in the vicinity of an activated lamp.

- And the entire time you are progressing through the maze, you will be
hunted by an ever-growing army of Thralls.


The lamps are placed appropriately so that you may follow the
light from one to the next towards the end of the maze. reddit user
WeepingHoney crated a vector map showing the exact placement of each
lamp as shown here.

Simply move from one lamp to the next while slowly picking off the thralls
chasing you, and make sure to stand next to each lamp long enough
to remove some of the Weight of Darkness from your character. Around 30
seconds after a lamp has been activated it will begin to glow orange
before detonating, killing anyone in a large radius around it, so make sure
to get out of the blast zone in time.

In addition to the thralls, knights will spawn at the 9th and 13th lamps.
It is usually easier to simply avoid these enemies rather than
slowing down to kill them and risk being overrun by the pursuing thralls.

After the 15th and final lamp you come to another sync plate similar to the
one on the moon's surface where your fireteam should stand and defend in
order to construct the bridge over the chasm behind it.

Ogres will spawn from back near the 14th lamp and should be focused down
and immediately dispatched.

After enough time the bridge will finish constructing, your weight of darkness
will be lifted and all you must do is head towards the light. It is only
necessary for one member of your fireteam to make it through, in case things
get desperate, and all members of your group will receive raid loot
just before reaching the light.
