No Sap characters or Vincent? Build one and bring an FFVII character (usable characters - Reno, Aerith, Yuffie, or Barret). Equip Poison RF sphere (Trancred and Faris). Thrancred's RF sphere is still available for farming at the Operation Airborne Heretics. I have equipped it on my Gau.

Note: All 3 characters are EX+3LB with their bloom passives and their enhancement boards. Reno has his LD, his HG armor, and the following spheres - his own, Raijin (RF), Porom (RF). Gau has his LD and the following spheres - Thancred (RF), his own, and Papalymo (RF). Guy has his LD and the following spheres - his own, Firion (RF) and Freya (RF)

- Ensure Reno's Numb debuff (S1) is always up so that the boss will delay their turn when they use a physical attack. This buys the turns you need to heal or refresh buff (if needed).
- Have Reno use his Pyramid when the boss is using Crust Disaster.
- Keep Gau in Landslide time. Use his skills (S1/S2) when his Beast Awakening is about to lapse. I will use his Lifeshaver mode when the bosses are at Hatred mode.
- Have Guy upkeep his LD buff at all costs and lock the boss to him with his S2.
- Use Exdeath and Ultimecia Call when you need to shave BRV gains from Hatred Power.

LUFENIA Orb
The LUFENIA orb is a permanent one. It starts off with 20 orb counts. It will add back to 10 (capped at 25) when the boss takes BRV damage from debuff effects.

There are few viable Sap/Poison characters that are either white or red crystal (Vincent, Beatrix, Serah, or Thrancred). However you are using a non-FFVIII red crystal unit, you bound to use Vincent for white crystal and FFVII requirement. IMO, This Abyss fight is quite a restrictive one. We have only 2 Calls that offer Sap at the moment (Exdeath/Ultimecia). You can expand your options by using an E Thrancred/ Faris refined sphere. (Thrancred RF shop is available for crafting for another 6 days in Operation Airborne Heretics shop). With the sphere taking care of the orb conditions, you still need to have damage mitigation options to handle those Crust Beetles.

Key Notes on the boss mechanics

The boss when in Hatred Power (red aura emitting) can deal heavy HP damage upon breaking your party. Vincent can weaken them with his crippling debuffs but you will still need to have healing. WoL's shields buff and Guy LD buff (30% HP damage mitigation) are some good viable options to tank the hit.
