Note: Shantotto and Ultimecia are EX+3LB. Ultimecia has her LD, sphere, and bloom passive. Shantotto has her BT and LD. Desch has his 35cp with 15cp passive only.

Desch has caused me a lot of pain. I spent 75k gems and not getting his LD or EX. Luckily I have my tickets stash (but it is still 125 tickets to get his EX). So I punish him to bring him with his 35cp kit for the Challenge Quest.

On Desch equipment.
Due to I have limited CP, I have dropped off his Speed passive and some DEF stats and zero artifacts and get all the summon board passives. You will need them for him to do some decent damage. I have chosen to use Ramuh here instead of Alexander because the Thunder elemental and the DEF and MAX BRV is more useful as Desch can heal with his abilities.

Wave 1: Crimson Lizard x2 (completed on turn 25)
- Have Desch activate his Anti-physical Area with his S2 since the bulk of lizards' arsenal is mainly physical. Watch the beauty of his 80% BRV reduction buff that makes the Lizards unable to break you :)
- Ultimecia should use her LD to get her to 5 stacks. Or you can use her S1 and build her stacks with BRV+/HP+.
- Have Shantotto use her EX for the elemental imperil. Use her abilities if you need to have better turn order.
- Before you kill off the remaining lizard, summon Ramuh first.

Wave 2: Flumen Draco x2 (completed on turn 69)
- Try to get as many turns as possible before you allow those Zu bosses to get a turn. Since Desch is undergeared, I did not opt to go for the paralysis stun-lock strategy. The boss starts off with Magia State so I have Desch use his S1 to activate his Anti-Magic Area.

Summary on the Boss' mechanic:-
- The boss has 2 modes - Magia state (you will see glowing orbs) and Physica State. Have Desch uses S1 when it is at Magia state and S2 when it is at Physica state so you can mitigate their damage with the appropriate BRV reduction,
- Magia state: It will use mainly Bubbleout (ST BRV), Breath (AOE, DEF Down debuff). When it is HP threshold is below 80%, it will stop using Breath and its AOE is either Dragotornado and Dragontornado+. With Desch BRV reduction buff from his Anti-Magicial Area, the damage will be manageable. Take BRV defensive position. Do take note that Dragontornado+ is a double BRV+HP and gains ATK Up to itself. Even Shantotto has last stand passive (i.e. KO immunity as long as HP above 50%). She won't survive if her HP is critical
- Physia state: It could use Wing Dive and Slow Claw as its preliminary BRV attacks. Its AOE is mainly Pteragust (Group BRV) or Pteragust+ (Group BRV+HP x2, grants DEF Up)
- They can use Headbutt if they have sufficient BRV. So keep their BRV minimum. Shantotto and Ultimeica's Sap/Poison debuffs are useful here to keep their BRV in check.

The boss will starts off Magia state and switch to Physia State and so on. When it switches to either form, it will gain BRV gain. The Magia state will cleanse it debuffs (included framed ones) and grant itself ATK, DEF, SPD Up auras. In other words, the boss is more dangerous in Magia state.

The strategy is quite simple. Just have Desch use the opposing Anti field depends on the modes that bosses are in. Ensure that there is always Totto's or Ultimecia's turn between the boss turns. They have great BRV shaving capabilities so they can remedy the BRV gain. You can have Shantotto lock them with her guaranteed paralysis with her LD. Use her high turn rate moves to get into good positions if needed. Ultimecia is great for her turn manipulation. Do note that the enemies will come out of breaks after 5 actions, so use that to your advantage. Her Maelstorm (BRV+) and Hell Judgment are great BRV shaving tools for emergency shaving. Do note that when you kill one of the bosses first, the surviving one will enrage and enter into Magia state. It is best to try to kill both of them at the same time. I have Totto use her BURST when I need to finish them off.
