Note: Both Shantotto and Ultimecia are EX+3LB with their enhancement boards. Shantotto has her LD and BT. Ultimecia has her LD, sphere, and bloom passive. Yang is using his base EX and has his bloom passive.
Yang doesn't get a lot of love from the community (except his wife maybe) So I decided to do a run for him. He has a great AOE kit (Kick+ offers 80% splash, Focus does split damage while EX does 80% splash). He is actually a great alternative for AOE damage if you choose to build instead of Squall. Even at base EX, he still kicks ass. His bloom passive is important if you intend to use him for the challenge as it will restore 3 more Kick uses
Wave 1: Crimson Lizard x2 (completed on turn 27)
- Have Ultimecia uses her LD to get her M buff to 5 stacks. Shantotto applies Imperil for the party. Have Yang use Focus and have him kicking the Lizards. Your objective is to finish them without wasting too many skills. Summon before you finish the Lizard
Wave 2: Flumen Draco x2 (completed on turn 54)
- Since Yang has quite a decent amount of skill uses - 17 in total (include 3 AA restores) but a nice hard-hitting EX. I presume that should be sufficient damage to deploy the Stun lock strategy. I have Shantotto use her LD and follow up with 4 times. Ultimecia should try to loop her EX. Yang should be kicking the Zu's butt.
- Surprisingly, it works well and the Zus are dead before they can pose any danger to my party.
