[DFFOO JP]Ursula + Fran + Prompto / Shadow | Ursula's min 20% mBRV lock buff
8I may have focused too much on the battery and interaction with Brv Gain characters previously that the Brv lock at min 20% mBRV actually makes a big impact on multi-HP dump attacks that have no refund.
This is a compilation of a full Prompto run, and clips of Shadow with Lenna friend and Prompto in later chapters.
Some of the most noticeable candidates are Fran's split damage S2 (Sazh LD CA as well) and Prompto's EX. Shadow's interceptor follow-up, Yuffie or Barret LD etc. Originally after each HP dump they start from 0 again, but because of Ursula's LD buff that does not allow the party's current Brv to go below 20%. So on top of the normal stolen Brv gain in between HP attacks, you get an extra 20% mBrv per dump. So the more HP dumps you have, you get even more benefit out of this buff by having her around.
Combining Fran's debuff and Ursula's buff and DEF down, Prompto's Brv damage is secured even as far as in Arc 3 Ch5 pt2. His Ex as a result hits unusually high numbers. Fran's S2 in particular is also benefits alot from this apart from the improved Brv damage, each subsequent HP dumps are doing 40k-50k now. Sazh LD CA is also doing unusually well (Call potentcy is never that good to begin with). Also Ngl I haven't seen my shadow did 570k before as well and 450k casually, considering none of these characters of mine are maxed out.
I honestly would not be surprised if you slap an Iroha CA or Cait Sith CA somewhere and Prompto can do around 900k with his EX on one target, considering he was doing around that number when I tested Cait Sith LD ages ago.
Ursula has a large variety of buffs and debuffs that suits different types of characters. She surprises me with how many ways you can utilize her, not just a one trick pony. Now it seems that even non-refund character gets great value from having her as well.
