Cunning Rogue is a rather neat way of including 'prediction' mechanics into a traditional roguelike format. This game is basically just the original Rogue but you can see the moves that enemies will make; be it what square(s) they will attack, where they will move, and/or where they will attack or move too.

Enemies can also attack each other - although they usually aren't chaotic enough that this can reliably be made use of in combat. You generally don't want to hold a corridor down against certain enemies because you can still be hit - and you don't have a lot of hit points so you really don't want to get hit. Certainly a fun inspiration to work with.
