Diablo 4 Gameplay - Full Playthrough Start to Finish Part 1 (Necromancer, No Commentary)
Good Evening!
This video is Part 1 in the series of a full playthrough of the Necromancer class for the newly release Diablo 4. In the beginning of the video I am re-learning the new mechanics. It picks up the pace later on in the video, but I keep all cut scenes, and let the cinematic cuts play out as well for your viewing pleasure!
This game is absolutely amazing. I am very very please with it being a long time player and fan of the series. It has elements of the old hack and slash, but also requires thinking. Nothing is a guarantee in the dungeons. In fact, I get wiped in the "Defiled Catacomb" several times.
The game starts with your own individual intro, including story based scenes, as well as your first dungeon that I take on at level 2. From there, you enter Sanctuary, and it becomes open world. You can and will run into players all over the place in the towns and open world. As of now (June 7th), not so much farther from the towns, but the in between roads you will. When you enter a dungeon, in runs just like an "instance" in World of Warcraft. No one can be in there but you (& your party if you want one).
You can also party up pretty easily just by talking to people in town. There is a chat function that I have not yet tried.
Finally, the skill tree is EXTENSIVE. I am a big fan of the skill tree. I went right to the undead boosts for the Necromancer, skipping the first 10 levels of skills I could potentially jump out to. I did pick up bone prison and some sort of nova bomb that radiates out from me. I will have a more extensive review at some point, for now, time to enjoy the game!
I will be posting dungeons and quest based videos in their own uploads, in addition in the overall playthrough for each class. This video is "no commentary".
Overall, I give this games a HUGE THUMBS UP. I am absolutely loving its mixture of old school Diablo as well as upgraded mechanics and play. Plus, it looks beautiful and stunning.
