0DICEOMANCER is an amazing new released roguelike deck builder. The scribbly storybook aesthetic and limited animation are so charming. The first-person perspective is novel, especially since so many cards have animations involving the player character's hands, and you get a nice eye-full of amazing enemies. The backgrounds get better the more you look at them: you'll notice that the background of a locale will sometimes have landmarks far off in the distance, and as you progress through your run, the backgrounds will change to show that you're actually traveling towards those landmarks! Little details like that are what separates good games from great ones, and this game is full of them. DICEOMANCER has a unique art style that is particularly eye-catching, featuring entirely hand-drawn battle animations that add both realism and vibrancy to the game. You’ll encounter a wide variety of enemy characters, including a large goose met along the roadside, soaring eagles, friendly wild boars, and mysterious robed figures. Every action in the game is hand-drawn frame by frame, offering players a fresh combat experience. Theres tons of unlockables that feed the sense of progress, and infinite replayability.
