0The original glove was used in the sequel film, and it is later seen hanging in the work shed in Evil Dead 2. This is partially due to the fact that The Evil Dead was seen being used in the first Nightmare on Elm Street, and it also has to do with a continuous banter between Wes Craven and Sam Raimi. The glove was then used during the next sequel, but it was supposedly lost by the end of filming. It’s reported to be in the possession of Robert Englund’s agent. Also, New Line Cinema ended up getting saved from bankruptcy thanks to the success of this film. That’s why New Line Cinema is known as the House that Freddy Built.
