Hey players, DJay here with another arcade exclusive longplay on a fighting game, Slam Masters II/Super Muscle Bomber.

Description of the game:

Ring Of Destruction: Slam Masters II (Super Muscle Bomber in Japan) is a wrestling/fighting hybrid arcade game by Capcom released in August 1994 on the CPS-II hardware, being the 3rd fighting game for the system after Super Street Fighter II and Darkstalkers. Unlike its 1993 predecessor, it remained an arcade exclusive, not ported to any home console or re-releases. Balrog, Zangief and E. Honda from the Street Fighter franchise make cameo appearances in some stages. The game uses the SUPER text from Super Street Fighter II.

Some time after the events of the prequel, wrestlers from the Capcom Wrestling Association gather once again in a bout for the championship, but they're not the only ones in the game, which also means the Blood Wrestling Association have also got their eyes on the championship. Wrestlers from before are also accompanied by a few new members of the BWA as well as the likes of the Master of Muscle Bomber himself, Victor Ortega. A new chapter in the battle for the strongest wrestler in the world has begun!

The gameplay mechanics remain unchanged from its 1993 predecessor, however, the pin action is completely removed in favour of a knockout system much akin to other fighting games. Players now have a choice between a roster of 14 characters, with some new movesets. Another new feature is the taunt action and a Super Special Move, which inflicts more damage than the normal special move. This can be triggered after performing a taunt and lasts a short amount of time. Precautions must be taken when performing taunts as doing so while taking a hit will instantly stun the player. The goal is to eliminate the opponent within the time limit set and within a set number of rounds. Players win either by depleting the opponent's health completely or keeping more health remaining than the opponent if the time expires. Losing every round in the match will prompt the player to continue, but with every crown obtained throughout lost and reset to zero.

Prove you have what it takes to be the new champion in this wrestling/fighter hybrid!
