I revisited Mission 10 to test some new stuff!

I: you can go and visit Pier early, but only after the Bob Barbas fight has started. It's a quaint, surprisingly large location, reflecting what the Bellevue Pier from Mission 1 looks like "in real life" instead of in Limbo. Parts of it count as unplayable areas since you never reach them or even see them during the level itself. There are also mysterious collision-less grey boxes beneath the Pier. A closer examination revealed nothing new about them.

II: You can hit death collision beneath the Pier to confuse the game. Why is there death collision somewhere where you're never supposed to reach anyway? It's a good question. As a side note, there is death collision beneath the Bob Barbas arena as well. Anyway, the camera will stay stuck at the Pier while the fight goes on at Barbas like normal. You can play the stage normally from here and eventually reach the Pier for real.

III: if you go far enough from the arena that it unloads and then return, things become glitched up. Stunning Bob doesn't cause the arena colors to change and Dante becomes frozen in one spot. The game is in a sort of mixed state between active Bob and stunned Bob. Eventually Bob becomes free to move again while Dante is still frozen... getting his ass kicked. Shame I was on HoH-mode, would've been interesting to not get a game over here.

IV: the melancholic realization that stunning Bob causes Dante to teleport back inside the fight arena.

V: after reaching the news platforming section, you can see a mysterious building close to where the Pier later is. It's actually the TV-studio, although I didn't know it yet when making this video. You can't get very close to it from above because of ample death collision... Hitting the death collision, the level's music reverts back to the panic music from the start of the level. Otherwise things have not glitched up and work completely normally, though.

VI: remember invisible Bob Barbas? It turns out that visiting him has some extra side effects. If you visit him and then go and activate the actual Bob Barbas-fight, Bob will not have his perfect defenses on. He will not deflect bullets shot at him, and striking him causes Dante to gain style points (unlike normal). He even takes damage from Aquila attacks. The glitch ends if you accidentally parry Barbas' attacks back at him.

VII: you can also shoot Kablooey shots on Barbas and detonate them during the fight to hurt him. Or pre-emptively litter the fight arena with glitched Revenant charge shots to further ridicule the situation.

(Not on the vid: I'd like to test one of the variations from my previous Bad News glitch video some more - the one in which retrying after using Barbas' eye lift point would spawn Dante out of bounds on nothing. But I can't reproduce it for some reason. What did I do different the last time to cause that retry glitch to happen? Hmm...)
