Do YouTube Shorts Get You More Subscribers

So I recently uploaded 26 YouTube Shorts to my other channel, The Game Thing. This was 8 hours work of recording, editing and uploading emotes from Fortnite and formatting them to YouTube Shorts that ranged from 3 seconds to 59 seconds.

The idea with this YouTube experiment was to see if YouTube Shorts would help to grow my channel, or more specifically, would my channel benefit by gaining new subscribers because of the YouTube Shorts. The simple answer here was a MASSIVE YES.

Within 6 days my channel had received over 40,000 views but more importantly my channel gained 220 new subscribers. These 220 new subscribers more than doubled the total subscribers on my channel.
