(English below) Gameplay de Donkey Kong 64, el juego de plataformas y aventuras desarrollado por Rare y lanzado en 1999 para Nintendo 64. Lo juego en el emulador Project64, con gráficos en HD (x8 resolución interna, pantalla a 1080p), y con varias mejoras visuales que no estaban presentes en el juego en consola gracias al pluging GLideN64: antialiasing MSAA, filtrado anisotrópico y mejora del LOD en texturas lejanas. El formato widescreen se activa en las opciones del juego, funcional aunque está pobremente implementado (no es del todo 16:9, y en las partes en las que la cámara toma el control para mostrarnos algo se cambia a 4:3 y por lo tanto la imagen se estira). El juego corre a 30 fps totalmente estables, y quien jugara en su día en la consola, como un servidor, sabe que eso es una gran mejora respecto al original. Eso sí, tiene un pequeño precio, y es que el sonido a veces se desincroniza, especialmente notorio en las cinemáticas, pero nada grave. Ese es el principal problema de emulación que he encontrado en 12 horas que le he echado al juego en el emulador.

El gameplay es largo porque quería mostrar la recreación de la recreativa del Donkey Kong original que sirve como uno de los minijuegos para conseguir una de los plátanos dorados, en 02:03:25. De paso rescato a los 5 monos y muestro 3 de los mundos del juego.

La versión del emulador que uso con este juego 2.4.0, antigua pero va bien, y no noté que mejorara el tema del audio en versiones más modernas. Configuración que uso: https://imgur.com/p5wQC3k

Gameplay of Donkey Kong 64, the platform and adventure game developed by Rare and released in 1999 for Nintendo 64. I play it in the Project64 emulator, with HD graphics (x8 internal resolution, 1080p screen), and with several visual improvements that were not present in the console game thanks to the GLideN64 pluging: MSAA anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering and LOD improvement in distant textures. The widescreen format is enabled in the game options, functional although poorly implemented (it is not quite 16:9, and in the parts where the camera takes control to show us something, it switch to 4:3 and therefore the image is stretched).The game runs at a totally stable 30 fps, and whoever played it back in the day on the console, likeI did, knows that's a big improvement over the original. That yes, it has a small price, and is that the sound is sometimes out of sync, especially noticeable in the cinematics, but nothing serious. That's the main emulation issue I've found in the 12 hours I've played the game on the emulator.

The gameplay is long because I wanted to show the recreation of the original Donkey Kong arcade that serves as one of the minigames to get one of the golden bananas, in 02:03:25. By the way I rescue the 5 monkeys and show 3 of the game worlds.
