(English below) Gameplay del remake de Dark Forces 2 (Jedi Knight) que un fan, Ruppertle, está realizando con el Unreal Engine (versión 4, supongo), y ha lanzado una demo para que podamos probar el trabajo que está realizando. Esta demo nos permite jugar el primer nivel del juego, un jefe y algunos modos de juego más. Aquí enseño el primer nivel entero y el modo survival.

Me parece un gran trabajo, la recreación del primer nivel es totalmente fiel a la del juego original pero con gráficos actuales, así que en caso de que algún día lo lleguemos a ver terminado parece que estaremos antes un gran remake (ojalá su autor pueda lograrlo, porque recrear todo un juego no es fácil, muchos remakes hechos por fans se han quedado por el camino, y también está por ver que a Disney no le dé por pararlo).

La demo tiene música pero la he desactivado, pues al igual que en el juego original, es la banda sonora de John Williams de las películas, por lo que tiene copyright. Tampoco muestro las cinemáticas (que son las mismas del juego original) por lo mismo.

Gameplay of the Dark Forces 2 (Jedi Knight) remake that a fan, Ruppertle, is making with the Unreal Engine (version 4, I suppose), and has released a demo so we can try the work he is doing. This demo allows us to play the first level of the game, a boss and some more game modes. Here I show the whole first level and the survival mode.

I think is a good work, the recreation of the first level is totally faithful to the original game but with current graphics, so if someday we get to see it finished it seems it will be a great remake (hopefully its author can achieve it, because recreate a whole game is not easy, many remakes made by fans never were finished, and it also remains to be seen that Disney will not stop it).

The demo has music but I have disabled it, because as in the original game, it is the soundtrack by John Williams from the movies, so it is copyrighted. I also don't show the cinematics (which are the same from the original game) for the same reason.
