Gameplay of the first episode (the first 5 levels) of the 5 it contains (I think) of Dread Templar, a new first person shooter game in the classic 90's style (boomer shooter) by the indie developer T19 Games.

I played the demo of this game some time ago, and later I was able to get my hands on it in a Humble Bundle pack with other similar games. The game was in early access state, so I decided not to play it again until the 1.0 version were released, and here it is.

The demo gave me the feeling of being a promising game, and the final impression has been more than satisfactory. It's a game of fluid and fast action, with good gunplay, pretty good level design, lots of secrets, etc.. Everything you can ask from a good game of this style. It reminds me to Quake but with a faster action.

In this gameplay as I say, I play the first full episode (five levels, ended with a boss fight), and although it's not the first time I play the game, because the first 2 or 3 levels were already in the demo, the fact is that I had not trained it or anything like that. What I mean, it's the first time I play the final version, so don't expect to see all the secrets (although I get a lot of them, even a super secret) or a perfect gameplay.

Dread Templar can be purchased on Steam and GOG. It is currently only available for PC.
