-------------------------------

Extended gameplay (about half of the game) of Trespasser, an action-adventure game of the Jurassic Park franchise developed by DreamWorks Interactive and released in 1998 exclusively for PC. It takes place after the events of the 2nd movie, The Lost World.

In its day the game came out with many problems: very bad performance, full with bugs, novel game mechanics didn't work very well, etc. So it was very badly received and is remembered as a bad game. I remember trying it at the beginning of the century with a PC that supposedly should have been enough to make it work, and it was unplayable. However, nowadays I think it's quite enjoyable.

This game surprises me because of what they wanted to do back in the day, a totally immersive experience, so much that it gives me the feeling of playing a VR game, but without a headset or motion sensors. The interaction with everything is done with one of the protagonist's arms (the other is supposedly injured) the physics were ahead of their time, and there is no interface, it's the own protagonist who tells us how many bullets are left in a gun (which can not be reused), and to know our health status... we have to look down to see the tattoo on her chest. Yes, the game forces us to look at there XD

Anyway, its mechanics aren't polished at all, and there are still bugs, but as I say, I think it's enjoyable enough and not as bad as people say (at least, with the patch made by a fan that I'm using). It's worth giving it a chance if only for curiosity's sake.

These are the steps I followed to make it work on Windows 10:

1º Download the demo and unzip it in a folder of your choice: https://www.trescom.org/download/official-trespasser-demo/
2º Copy and paste in this folder the content of the folder "data" in CD of the game in the "data" of the demo, overwriting.
3º Download the Trespasser CE patch here: https://www.trescom.org/download/trespasser-ce-patch/
4º Unzip the patch and copy and paste the contents into the main folder of the demo.
5º To start the game, run tpassp6.exe
