Don’t Try “Setup” Until You’ve Watched This! (Quest Guide & Tips)
1,923Hate completing the “Setup” quest in Tarkov? Today we’ll be looking at easing your path through what is one of the most divisive quests in Tarkov, with some players really enjoying it whilst others suffer through!
Ultimately, Setup comes down to two elements: Choosing a sensible loadout given the limitations, and using shotguns effectively on customs. If you can crack both of these parts, the quest becomes much more straightforward and you’ll get the kills for it in no time.
Even though this is a PvP quest, I generally advise players to stay away from the highly geared hotspots like gas station and dorms, because although the shotguns can work in some of those areas typically the players you’re facing are more experienced and will take advantage of any mistakes you make more aggressively than elsewhere, and with a “non meta” kit can exacerbate the issues with completing it.
