Hey ho, new gear and can finally upload some of the stuff I kept in the external drive. Been awhile hasn't it everyone? If you're still subscribed then all I can say to you really is thank you for sticking around and waiting for me!

So, first late upload is a sweet little indie gem that pays homage to classic titles from the 80s, Donut Dodo. I found out about the game while I was looking for some games that's similar to Annalynn, another good indie arcade gem.

It's quite similar to Annalynn, a pac-man type game except if it's fused with burger time and DK. You collect donuts, grab the big donut and progress to the next level. It's simple but challenging just like the good ol' days.

The biggest highlight for donut dodo is specifically the music, our composer went way tooo hard on it and it's what keeps you going. It's energetic and very lighthearted.

Difficulty? Pretty balanced, if you keep your chain up you're guaranteed to get an extra life for each stage. There's no RNG either so if you mess up then that's on you, the biggest challenge this game has to offer is the bonus round/pumpking bounce. Trying to perfect it takes some time since because once your main protagonist billy so much as hops off the pumpkin from the side he'll launch off very quickly.

The 2nd challenge here is the screen itself, you have to keep watch of both sides or you'll end up bumping into a projectile or an enemy, you'll notice this fairly quickly when you face off with our crazed dodo (who is surprisingly violent given the amount of skulls seen from it's hideout.)

It's a sweet, short, colorful and energetic game, the music is good, the graphics are simple and colorful and the difficulty is fairly balanced. The only issue I have is it's EX-A arcadia counterpart where it has one exclusive character and stage, just a shame it can't be on steam or other platforms.
