exciting, intense small map. the hitscanners can hurt you very bad, and moving close to walls to limit the chance of being target is something to keep in mind. Nonetheless, some unlucky shotgun can kill you no matter your carefulness. But being careful doesn't go along with speedrunning, so let's cut this here. Rushed through the green armour, and then cleared the way up, by going first on the right side to avoid single zombie man to be killed from far away, which could slow down. Doing so, it's easier for zombies to kill each other as well. the health you exit the first room wasn't important for me, as there are 3 medikits shortly afterwards. you must run to those, before the chaingunners or the cyberdemon kills you tho. Once arrived to the plasma area, you can either frag most and then pick the plasma, or try to kill just the PE or the rev (or both, depends on their movement here) and pick the plasma running away. That's what i've tried, saving a couple of second probably. The cyber is best to be alive untill the last, because he'll keep busy the MM which is what I aimed for. break in the following room, pick the bfg and then clear the 4 foes in the short passage leading to the entrance again. Then hop in the fake wall for some small bonus and the secret area. Switch on BFG, blast away the archvile and then it's already the final fight room. Wait a second for the chaingunners (unlucky) or the cyberdemon (lucky!) to provoke the spider to infight, so that you can meanwhile care of the mancubus. After lots of tries, I thought of leaving 1 or 2 mancubus behind the spider alive, as they'd take some BFG splash damage anyway. That was risky, because there was the possibility a mancubus would still be alive when jumping on the platform rising. DSDA record here was 01:56 by Anima Zero, at first glance it looked almost perfect, then I reached a few sub 2minutes as well. After 1h I got my first 01:55, but I was feeling a bit bad about posting the demo already, with just a second improvement. Kept trying for some more time and this came out. I was sure 01:4x was doable, and I'm satisfied with this for now.
ps:changed video recording settings once again, gimme some feedbacks about it too. it's 1680*1050 res, 16:9 aspect ratio doom, 30fps recorded and rendered.
