This video features a demo of Doom 2's Map 14 'The Inmost Dens', in which all monsters and items are scored (no secrets) from a pistol start, and no damage taken whatsoever.
Also, commentary was recorded live as I played the demo and I continued recording my postgame reaction for the outro --- it's the first time I've done this.

For many months in 2019 and into 2020 I avoided taking on this map properly, regarding it as impossible for no damage play, but with the nagging doubt that if I could figure out the right order to take on the enemies, a solution would be found.
In August 2020 I had a successful run, however my strategy with the archvile area was to peek-a-boo shoot rockets and then bullets from a lift that overlooks the entire front of the building, which was more risky than the method I devised for this video.
In February 2021 I found that running down the side of the building is almost totally safe, allowing a more controlled approach. However, for the run in this video, there are a few surprises for me to cope with!
