Hey guys, well it took me a few months to post again since this map was simply crazy hard and I also had a very busy end of the year. Add to that the fact that I can't record on my Mac anymore because of the new El Capitan operating system - and it took me a while before I finally decided to buy Fraps - and well I hope you can understand.

The map actually doesn't look that hard but somehow there was always a revenant rocket or a spectre chowing my ass off spoiling the party. Oh and don't forget the whole monsters on fast mode thing.

Got a bit tired of grinding and so I decided to post on the second exit, even though below 7:00 is well possible. I was so nervous towards the end that I forgot that I still had some chaingun rounds left, and so I let the pain elemental be killed by his own lost souls. :) But definitely that should not have happened, and under normal conditions I should have gotten around 6:55 or so. I'll give it another shot I guess but for now I'm done.

For sure this is the hardest map by far under -fast if you only count from 1 to 17. It's hard enough to learn to dodge those rockets, but you also need quite a bit of luck when you do those jumps because of the spectres that may be cock blocking your way. There's no way to deal with them since you're running low on ammo for most of the time.

Some strange map behaviour as well:

(1) The "sticky" corners at 0:06 which I had to learn to navigate - yes, you can literally get "stuck" in the corners since there is only a certain way to get "out" of them again. Not so much fun if you have super fast fireballs and rockets heading towards your face.

(2) At 1:55, non-crashing revenant rockets - they just disappear in the wall without making a sound.

My beginner's luck 7:23 exit was relatively early but sloppy. After that, I had about 13 serious attempts which ended in death, and probably hundreds of others where I died early. Had quite a few better starts but survived none of them. Hopefully the time to beat this one will also be better looking. :)
